Nitsch Engineering Announces Expanded Board of Directors and New Shareholders

Nitsch Engineering is pleased to announce two new members of the firm’s Board of Directors, and three new shareholders.

Deirdra A. Taylor, CPA, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Aaron A. Gallagher, PE, CFM, LEED AP, Civil Engineering Project Manager, have joined Nitsch Engineering’s Board of Directors, expanding the Board to seven members. Deirdra and Aaron join Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Lisa A. Brothers, PE, ENV SP, LEED AP BD+C; Founding Principal Judith Nitsch, PE, LEED AP BD+C; Vice President and Director of Planning Scott D. Turner, PE, AICP, LEED AP ND; Vice President and Chief Engineer Sandra A. Brock, PE, CFM, LEED AP BD+C; and Civil Engineering Project Manager Deborah M. Danik, PE, CPESC, LEED AP BD+C. The seven-person Board of Directors was elected by the firm’s shareholders (all of whom are employees) and is tasked with the responsible management of the firm.

Jared E. Gentilucci, PE, CPESC, LEED AP BD+C, Civil Engineering Project Manager; Anna N. Luciano, CPSM, Marketing Communications Manager; and Steven Ventresca, PE, LEED AP BD+C, Civil Engineering Project Manager, have become shareholders of Nitsch Engineering, bringing the total number of shareholders to 24.

About the New Members of the Board of Directors
Deirdra A. Taylor, CPA, has more than 30 years of experience providing corporate leadership and business finance expertise within the A/E/C industry, which she brings to her role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. A certified public accountant (CPA), Deirdra has a demonstrated record of success in providing financial and operational analysis, modeling, and reporting; strategic planning and implementation; performance-based budgeting; and information technology strategy. Deirdra received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley College.

Scott Turner, PE, AICP, LEED AP ND, has 26 years of experience as a civil engineer and planner, during which time he has provided site planning and design services including site development and permitting, stormwater systems, roadways, and utilities. Scott is a registered professional engineer, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and a LEED Accredited Professional in Neighborhood Development. This background has given him the ability to balance big-picture planning goals and specific technical aspects of a project – and he does so by implementing sustainable design solutions. Now entering his second year as a Board Member, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University, and a Master of Science in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Aaron A. Gallagher, PE, CFM, LEED AP, has 20 years of experience in the civil engineering field, where he has provided design and consulting services on a wide range of projects. He is particularly experienced in designing utilities, site grading and layout, and stormwater management solutions (including Low Impact Development designs). A Project Manager at Nitsch Engineering, Aaron has an in-depth understanding of local, State, and Federal permitting requirements, as well as experience in consulting with clients on LEED projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

About the New Shareholders
Jared E. Gentilucci, PE, CPESC, LEED AP BD+C, has 13 years of experience as a civil engineer, focusing on providing his clients with site development, drainage design, cost estimating, research, utility layout, grading design, and permitting with a variety of local and State agencies. A Project Manager at Nitsch Engineering, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Anna N Luciano, CPSM, has 16 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional, including 13 years in the engineering industry. A Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), she facilitates Nitsch Engineering’s overall marketing communications program. Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Providence College.

Steven Ventresca, PE, LEED AP BD+C, has 20 years of experience in civil engineering, focused on site layout design, stormwater management design, and roadway/bike path design. Steve’s wide range of experience includes residential and commercial developments, academic facilities, and roadway design and traffic safety improvements. He currently serves as Chair of the Town of Middleborough’s Conservation Commission. A Project Manager at Nitsch Engineering, Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
