What do you love most about your job?
“Everybody needs to get somewhere! Since our projects affect everyone around us, it’s so cool to be able to design transportation to be safer, more efficient, and more equitable.”
What drew you to working in transportation design?
“I always enjoyed playing simulation video games that let you design cities and roads. In college, I started to learn about urban design and how inefficiently so many of our roads and cities have been designed. There is so much potential to make our roadways safer and more enjoyable for everyone and I wanted to be a part of that.”
What are you passionate about outside of work?
“I am passionate about music and play several instruments – I like to learn new songs and jam with friends. In the summer I like to go camping and spend as much time as possible outside.”
