One Year in Scott’s Addition, Richmond: Strengthening Our Presence in Virginia

Earlier this month, Nitsch hosted an open house at our Richmond office to mark one year in Scott’s Addition. With more than 100 RSVPs, the event brought together clients, collaborators, and colleagues from across the region for an evening focused on connection, conversation, and the work ahead.

Nitsch has been working across Virginia for more than 20 years, supporting projects that range from municipal infrastructure and campus development to transportation and resilience planning. Establishing a dedicated presence in Richmond allows us to work more closely with our partners, be more responsive locally, and stay connected to the issues shaping the region.

The open house reflected what this first year has looked like in practice: steady growth, strong collaboration, and team members performing work for communities across the region. The turnout emphasized the value of showing up, reconnecting in person, and making space for conversation beyond individual projects.

Located in Scott’s Addition, the Richmond office provides civil engineering, transportation engineering, planning, and green infrastructure and resilience services. With a growing local team and close collaboration across our Mid‑Atlantic offices, we’re set up to support complex work throughout the Commonwealth.
