Nitsch Engineering Hires Fayssal J. Husseini, PE, to Lead Transportation Department

August 8, 2007; Boston, MA –Nitsch Engineering, a transportation engineering, civil engineering, land surveying, sustainable consulting, and GIS services firm, has hired Fayssal J. Husseini, PE to lead their growing transportation department.  As Transportation Department Manager, Fayssal’s project expertise and leadership experience will allow Nitsch Engineering to more effectively meet their clients’ needs for transportation and traffic engineering services.

Fayssal has 24 years of experience in providing transportation and traffic engineering services, including highway and roadway design, traffic signal design, parking lot design, airport terminal roadway design, and site planning/design projects in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine.  With expertise in everything from negotiating contracts to preparing design documents and conducting public hearings, Fayssal will lead Nitsch Engineering in establishing a stronger presence as a provider of transportation engineering services.

In addition to being a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Fayssal is an adjunct professor and member of the Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  He was the Chairman of the ADA Compliance Committee for the Town of Stoughton for four years and a Board Member and Secretary of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Massachusetts (ITSMA), and is currently the Secretary of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).  Fayssal earned his M.S. in transportation engineering and his B.S. in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
