Anna Luciano Named SMPS Boston Marketing Professional of the Year

We’re proud to announce that Anna Luciano, CPSM, was recognized by the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Boston Chapter as the 2019 Marketing Professional of the Year! This award recognized Anna for her contributions to Nitsch Engineering’s marketing and business development success – particularly in the areas of proposals, communications and promotional activity, and business development – as well as her professional growth.

With 17 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional, Anna has been working in the A/E/C industry since 2005, when she joined Nitsch Engineering. Over that time, she has grown as a marketing professional and as a leader into her current role as Marketing Manager. Her responsibilities include managing the company’s external and internal communications efforts from planning through implementation, providing support and strategic guidance for business development efforts, overseeing the company’s project pursuits and proposal activities, implementing a variety of strategic initiatives ranging from client experience surveys to corporate community engagement programs, and managing the marketing team and team projects. She works closely with people across each of Nitsch Engineering’s technical departments to help achieve the company’s goals.

Nitsch Marketing Team

The Nitsch marketing team celebrates: Virginia Steigerwald, Judy Nitsch, Lisa Brothers, Anna Luciano, MaKayla Allen, Laurie Strickland, and Gary Pease.

Anna’s commitment to helping Nitsch Engineering succeed as a business is matched by her commitment to giving back to her community. She is co-chair of Nitsch Cares, an employee resource group focused on community engagement and charitable giving; serves as co-chair of Canstruction Boston, which raises awareness of food insecurity in Massachusetts through an amazing design-build competition that benefits the Merrimack Valley Food Bank; and – as a past president of SMPS Boston – continues to be actively involved in SMPS through her activity on the Northeast Regional Conference planning committee.

We’re proud of all that Anna has accomplished so far, and hope you’ll join us in congratulating her!
