What do you love most about your job?
“I love working with project teams to navigate permitting and design challenges, eventually seeing projects built in real life, and knowing that the work I do helps shape and improve communities.”
What drew you to working in civil engineering?
“When I applied to college, I knew that I wanted to work in a field related to the environment and cities. Civil engineering seemed like a good fit for me because it’s technical and solution-oriented, and related to my interests of architecture, urban design, and city planning. My time at Northeastern eventually led me to a co-op position at Nitsch which exposed me to site and utility design and how it fit into the larger picture of developing a site.”
What are you passionate about outside of work?
“I like running, music, food (especially pizza), and exploring all things Boston. In April 2022, I ran my first marathon (126th Boston) and raised over $10,000 for Cradles to Crayons. They do amazing work – check them out!”
