The $42-million project involved constructing a new high school building and several athletic fields, driveways, parking areas, and other site improvements on a wooded lot off Summer Street in Medway. Nitsch Engineering designed the site utilities, including drainage, water, and sewer; as well as the roadway layout and a prefabricated bridge. The firm also provided permitting services, submitting the Environmental Notification Form to MEPA, and the Sewer Connection Permit and the Water Quality Certificate Permit applications to DEP. Nitsch Engineering provided technical support for the site plan submission to the Medway Planning Board and prepared and submitted the Notice of Intent. Nitsch Engineering involved the Medway Conservation Commission early in the design process (such as when two vernal pools were found during the wetland resource delineation process), allowing the Owner to obtain an Order of Conditions in a timely manner.
