Nitsch Engineering provided land surveying and civil engineering services for the design, permitting, and construction of the mixed-use commercial and residential development on a 0.9 acre MBTA parking lot at the Ashmont MBTA Station. The project was constructed in conjunction with the redevelopment of Ashmont Station by the MBTA. This project provides 20,000 square feet of commercial space, 105 residential units, and 80 below grade garaged parking spaces.

Nitsch Engineering provided full land surveying services, from documenting the existing condition, to the creation of new parcels, as well as providing survey control during construction. In regards to civil engineering services, we provided all site layout, grading, and utility design services, as well as securing permits with the Boston Water & Sewer Commission and City of Boston Public Improvement Commission. Nitsch Engineering also assisted the developer in securing the necessary approvals from the MBTA, Boston Redevelopment Authority, and MEPA.
