Nitsch Engineering provided land surveying and civil engineering services associated with the renovation of a portion of the 750,000-square-foot former Jordan Marsh warehouse building at 500 Commander Shea Boulevard. We performed due diligence (Basis of Design), provided land surveying on the site (including wetland delineation) and laser scanning for the interior of the warehouse. Nitsch Engineering assisted with the permitting process, including filing the Notice of Intent with the Quincy Conservation Commission for work within a floodplain and buffer zones. We coordinated the site layout and new utility connections with the landscape architect and MEP engineer, and prepared Construction Documents. Nitsch Engineering provided Construction Administration services for the building, which will seek LEED Certification.
