Fayssal Husseini is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, business development, and administration of the Transportation Engineering department. He has over 30 years of experience in providing transportation/traffic engineering and construction phase services. Fayssal’s project design experience includes highways and roadways, traffic signals and controls, surface parking facilities, airport terminal roadways, and site planning/design. He has managed transportation and traffic engineering work for more than 30 K-12 schools and higher education facilities.

Fayssal shares his knowledge and skills as an adjunct professor and member of the Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies/ Massachusetts Chapter and serves as chairman on two subcommittees of the Transportation Agencies Liaison Committee. Fayssal is active in the New England Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), having served as President and Secretary of the Massachusetts Chapter and Director/Secretary for the New England Section. He is also a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), and has served as a Board Member and Secretary of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Massachusetts. Fayssal was the Chairman of the ADA Compliance Committee for the Town of Stoughton for four years. He earned his M.S. in Transportation Engineering and B.S. in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
