Emad Elsakka is a structural engineer with more than 35 years of experience leading the design of bridge, building, and waterfront structures. His extensive experience in bridge design, structural analysis, NBIS inspection, bridge load rating, and construction engineering services has resulted in an in-depth knowledge of structural engineering that allows him to devise innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet his clients’ needs.

In 2014, Emad joined Nitsch Engineering to establish the structural engineering department. As the Director of Nitsch Engineering’s structural engineering practice, Emad is responsible for the management, technical leadership, and growth of our structural engineering practice, which focuses on supporting horizontal construction such as roadways, bridges, culverts, and other site structures for State DOTs, municipalities, academic institutions, architects, and contractors.

Outside of Nitsch

Emad is a family man and devotes most of his time outside of work to his family. He loves family trips to Cape Cod to swim, boat, fish, and cycle on the beautiful bike trails. Other interests include growing organic herbs and vegetables in his backyard and using them to make the best vegetable omelets.
