Anna has 18 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional, including 15 years addressing the unique challenges of marketing within the AEC industry. As Marketing Manager at Nitsch Engineering, where she is a shareholder, Anna’s responsibilities include managing the company’s external and internal communications efforts, overseeing the company’s project pursuits and proposal activities, providing support and strategic guidance for business development efforts, implementing strategic initiatives, and managing the marketing team and team projects.
Community service is important to Anna. At Nitsch Engineering, she co-chairs the Nitsch Cares employee resource group (ERG), which manages charitable giving and community engagement activities for the company, and is an active member of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging ERG. She has been actively involved in the SMPS Boston chapter since 2005, serving in a variety of roles on the education, programs, and communications committees before serving as chapter president for the 2015-2016 program year. She currently serves on the SMPS Northeast Regional Conference planning committee, as part of the communications committee as well as the advisory council. Since 2017, Anna has been serving as co-chair of Canstruction Boston, which holds an annual design-build competition for AEC firms to construct colossal structures made entirely from canned goods that ultimately benefit the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.
For her contributions to the SMPS Boston Chapter, Anna was named the Marketer of the Year in 2019, and received the New Member of the Year Award in 2007.
Anna earned a B.S. in marketing from Providence College and is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM).
