We are an established mid-sized engineering firm that provides structural, survey, civil/site, transportation, GIS and planning services to a wide variety of clients including state and municipal government agencies, developers, architects and universities. Our company has continued to grow and thrive throughout our 30-year history. Our recent success of securing several structural engineering contracts created the opportunity for a structural Project Manager position to support our fast-growing structural engineering department.
In this role you will work closely with the Director of Structural Engineering to manage multiple bridge and site structures projects, perform technical quality control reviews, develop new business, prepare proposals and budgets, supervise structural engineers, perform structural analysis, prepare preliminary and final designs; utilize structural software and CADD during preliminary and final design, complete independent structural calculations and studies, prepare preliminary and final plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), provide construction administration services; and perform NBIS inspections and ratings of bridges.

We are looking for an individual with 15+ years of relevant design experience, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with structural focus (or equivalent degree), Master of Science is preferred, familiarity with AutoCAD and structural software such as STAAD, Bentley’s bridge design and AASHTOWare bridge rating software, and familiarity with building design codes and MassDOT’s bridge design policies and guidelines. Professional registration is required.
