Nitsch Engineering is dedicated to building better communities with you. With that in mind, we launched a new campaign this year: a commitment to give back to our communities for our anniversary each and every year.

Since our founding in 1989, we have supported a lot of great organizations and charities through monetary donations, charitable activities, and our project work. In early September, our employees helped narrow down this list to five organizations. We then asked our employees, clients, and supporters to vote on how we should split up our charitable donation.

Thanks to the hundreds of people who voted! Today, on Giving Tuesday, we wanted to share how our 2017 donation was split among the Charles River Watershed Association, Engineers Without Borders, Heading Home, Hope Lodge, and the Merrimack Valley Food Bank:

Charles River Watershed Association: 14.4%; Engineers Without Borders: 24%; Heading Home: 32.8%; Hope Lodge: 15.2%; Merrimack Valley Food Bank: 13.6%
If you’re looking for a place to donate for Giving Tuesday, all of these charities help make the world a better place. It’s also not too late to donate to men’s health initiatives via our 2016 Movember campaign!
