Ranked Number 35 in the 2006 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For Contest, and Number 14 in the Small Firm Category
October 12, 2006; Boston, MA – Nitsch Engineering has been recognized as one of the Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For in the United States by CE News magazine. Out of the 157 firms that applied this year, Nitsch Engineering was ranked Number 35 overall and Number 14 in the Small Firm category.
The CE News Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work For Contest is one of the most meaningful rankings in the industry. The contest included a corporate survey and an employee satisfaction survey, which were graded and weighted equally by magazine staff. Grading criteria included corporate culture, benefits, compensation, professional development, performance/recognition, and recruiting/retention. By assigning numeric values to each of these categories, CE News was able to determine that Nitsch Engineering was a “destination workplace” for employees. All of the winners are featured in the October issue of CE News, and can be read about on their website at http://www.cenews.com/article.asp?id=1291.
“Nitsch Engineering has always believed that attaining high levels of employee satisfaction is one of the key elements in having a successful firm,” said Lisa A.
